Description
The Kaw Valley Precision 9mm Blow Back Bolt Carrier Group is purpose-built for 9mm Luger AR-15 pistol and rifle builds, giving builders a reliable BCG designed around the straight-blowback operating system that 9mm ARs use instead of a traditional gas-driven action. The bolt is ramped to feed reliably from the most common 9mm AR magazine configurations.
The carrier is machined from USA-made 8620 tool steel and finished in a black QPQ nitride coating that hardens the surface, reduces friction, and provides excellent corrosion resistance for long service life. A heavy firing pin retaining spring is fitted to keep the firing pin locked in place under the heavier inertial loads typical of blow-back operation, and the complete BCG weighs in at approximately 15.5 oz.
This 9mm BCG is compatible with both Glock-pattern and Colt-pattern 9mm magazines, making it a flexible choice for the most common 9mm AR lower configurations on the market today.
