Description
The Rossi RS22 in .22 WMR is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle designed for small-game hunting, varmint control, and recreational target shooting. Built around a 21″ stainless steel barrel and a matching stainless steel receiver, both finished in matte black, the RS22 brings the extended range and faster follow-up shots of the .22 Magnum to Rossi’s proven rimfire platform.
The action uses a semi-auto mechanism fed from a 10-round detachable box magazine, giving the rifle a 10+1 capacity. A 1:16″ twist stabilizes the full range of .22 WMR bullet weights, and the crowned muzzle helps protect accuracy. The receiver is topped with a Picatinny rail for easy mounting of optics or red dots – the rifle ships with no iron sights installed, letting the shooter choose their preferred sighting setup.
The fixed hardwood stock is finished in a traditional brown tone, giving the RS22 a classic wood-and-black look. A crossbolt safety integrated with the trigger provides positive control. At 39″ overall and weighing 5.60 lbs, the rifle is well-balanced for offhand shooting and steady in supported positions.
