At the heart of the system is an analog clock timer with protective guard that dispenses feed 1-24 times per day on a fully adjustable schedule. The feed rate can be dialed in anywhere from 1-30 seconds per cycle to match the type and volume of feed you are putting out, while a built-in varmint guard helps protect the spin plate and motor from raccoons and other pests.
An upgraded industrial-grade motor keeps the mechanism running through repeated daily cycles, and the housing comes pre-wired for accessories so you can drop in a feeder light, remote activator, or solar upgrade without rewiring. The feeder ships without a battery; American Hunter recommends a 6V DE-30045 battery (sold separately) to keep the timer and motor powered through the season.
