Description
The Bergara B-14 Ridge is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in the straight-walled 450 Bushmaster cartridge, purpose-built for big game hunting where straight-walled regulations apply. It pairs a quality steel barrel with a rugged synthetic stock to deliver reliable performance in the field at a value-driven price point.
At the heart of the rifle is a 20-inch barrel machined from 4140 CrMo steel and finished in Black Cerakote for corrosion resistance. The barrel uses a 5 taper profile and is factory-threaded 11/16×24 for easy mounting of a muzzle device. A 1:24″ rate of twist is matched to the projectiles loaded in 450 Bushmaster. The action is a traditional turn-bolt design feeding an internal box magazine through a hinged floorplate.
The molded stock is constructed of glass fiber reinforced polymer in a neutral Gray finish, with a SoftTouch coating that gives the surface a soft, tacky feel for a secure grip in wet or cold conditions. The internal box magazine provides a 4+1 total capacity. Overall weight is approximately 7.4 lbs, balancing well for hunting applications.
