The CMMG Banshee MK4 is a compact, semi-automatic AR-pattern pistol chambered in .300 AAC Blackout. Built on CMMG’s Mk4 platform and based on the proven AR-15/M4 architecture, this pistol pairs a 12.5″ barrel with CMMG’s direct-impingement operating system to balance handling, reliability, and ballistics in a brace-configured package.
The Banshee MK4 was originally created for optimum performance in subsonic, suppressed, and short-barrel applications, while still being capable of running supersonic .300 BLK loads. The 4140 chrome moly steel barrel and direct-impingement action give this pistol the durability and accuracy CMMG is known for, and the platform is purpose-built around the .300 BLK cartridge, which delivers ballistics comparable to 7.62×39 in a package that uses standard AR-15-pattern magazines.
This model wears CMMG’s Midnight Bronze Cerakote finish for a distinctive look and added corrosion resistance. The free-float handguard uses the M-LOK mounting system for accessories, and the lower is outfitted with a CMMG pistol grip and a dedicated pistol buffer tube. Rounding out the package is the RIP pistol stabilizing brace, which gives the operator stable, one-handed control and easy shouldering from a compact pistol footprint.
