Description
The CMMG Banshee MkG is a compact semi-automatic AR-platform pistol chambered in .45 ACP. Built around CMMG’s MkG lower – purpose-designed to feed from Glock-pattern .45 ACP magazines – the Banshee delivers familiar AR controls in a short, maneuverable package well suited for home defense, truck-gun use, and suppressed shooting.
Up front sits a 5-inch medium-taper threaded barrel machined from 4140CM steel with a salt bath nitride finish and a 1:16 rate of twist. The muzzle is fitted with CMMG’s ZEROED Linear Compensator on a .578×28 thread pitch. The MkG uses a fixed ejector for reliable case ejection of .45 ACP brass, and the upper and lower receivers wear a distinctive Midnight Bronze Cerakote finish.
An EML handguard provides M-LOK accessory slots for lights, lasers, or forward grips, while the Picatinny top rail accepts red dots and low-power variable optics. The Banshee MkG ships with a CMMG pistol grip, a 13-round Glock-pattern magazine for a 13+1 total capacity, and CMMG’s quick-deploying RIPBRACE pistol stabilizing brace for stable shoulder control.
