The CMMG Dissent Mk4 is a compact, AR-platform personal defense weapon chambered in .300 AAC Blackout. Built around CMMG’s proprietary DISSENT bufferless gas system, this semi-auto pistol delivers a remarkably short, stowable package ideal for home defense, truck guns, and suppressed PDW roles.
At the heart of the Dissent is a 6.5″ barrel with a 1:7 rifling twist and a threaded 5/8×24 muzzle, ready to accept your favorite suppressor or muzzle device. The DISSENT 7075-T6 aluminum upper is mated to a Mk4 forged 7075-T6 aluminum lower receiver, both finished in a protective Coyote Tan Cerakote coating paired with a Black Nitride barrel finish. Controls include a CMMG ZEROED 60/90 degree safety selector, a CMMG ZEROED trigger guard, and a smooth ZEROED drop-in single-stage trigger.
The Dissent ships ready to run with a 30-round Magpul magazine for a 30+1 capacity. It rides on a black polymer pistol grip and weighs approximately 4.6 lbs unloaded, with an overall length of just 14.7″, making it one of the most compact and packable .300 BLK AR pistols on the market today.
