Description
The CVA Wolf is a break-action muzzleloader chambered in .50 caliber, built as a compact, quick-pointing rifle for black powder hunting. This PR2119M configuration pairs a 24″ blued steel barrel with a steel receiver machined with an integrated Picatinny rail for fast, secure optic mounting.
Designed as a true single-shot break-open, the Wolf is equipped with CVA’s quick-release breech plug for tool-free removal between shots. The barrel uses a 1:28″ twist to stabilize modern conical bullets and saboted projectiles, while the action tips open for loading. A fixed Stealth Gray synthetic stock keeps the rifle light and easy to carry at just 6.60 lbs, with a 14″ length of pull that fits a wide range of shooters.
No iron sights are installed, leaving the top of the Picatinny rail open for the shooter’s preferred optic via a DuraSight one-piece scope mount (sold separately). Finished in matte blued steel with a muted gray synthetic stock, the Wolf is purpose-built as a muzzleloader for the field.
