The CZ-USA Bren 2 MS is a tactical 5.56 NATO pistol built on a modular platform with a short-stroke gas piston operating system. Chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO and compatible with .223 Remington, the MS variant combines the compact handling of a pistol with the ballistic performance of a rifle cartridge in a package well suited to defensive, recreational, and professional use.
At the heart of this Bren 2 is an 11″ cold hammer-forged barrel finished in matte black and hard-chrome-lined for an extended service life. The barrel is threaded 1/2×28 to accept a wide range of muzzle devices and sound suppressors, and uses a 1:7 twist rate to stabilize common 5.56 projectile weights. Flip-up iron sights are included for immediate out-of-the-box use.
Designed for ambidextrous operation, the Bren 2 MS features both an ambidextrous magazine release and an ambidextrous manual safety. The pistol ships with a flush rear plate that accepts an AR-style buffer tube, and this configuration includes the popular SB Tactical pistol stabilizing brace for improved control. The black polymer frame keeps carry weight down while providing a durable, weather-resistant platform.
