These side panels feature a smooth, classic grip profile with no finger grooves, and they are not cut for an ambidextrous safety, so they drop right onto any standard single-side-safety Government Model pistol.
The panels measure 1/4 inch in standard thickness and are sold as a matched left and right side-panel pair. They install in place of your existing grips using the original screws, making this a straightforward cosmetic and feel upgrade for any 1911 Government owner.
