The Sierra MatchKing bullet features a tapered boat-tail base and a published ballistic coefficient of .505, giving competitive shooters a flat trajectory, reduced wind drift, and excellent retained energy downrange. Federal loads this round to a muzzle velocity of 2600 fps and 2627 ft lbs of muzzle energy.
