Description
The Franklin Armory F17-X is a semi-automatic .17 Winchester Super Magnum (.17 WSM) rifle built on an AR-pattern platform and finished in black. Part of Franklin Armory’s flagship F17 series, the F17-X pairs the proprietary Osprey Defense gas piston system with a 16″ threaded barrel at a 1/2×28 thread pitch and a 1:9 rate of twist for the .17 WSM cartridge.
The rifle ships with one 20-round magazine and is optic ready with no iron sights installed. The 15″ handguard features an integrated hand stop / barrier stop for added control, and the upper uses a low-profile gas block. A standard AR-pattern charging handle completes the controls, giving AR shooters a familiar manual of arms.
Built around a rotating locking bolt for reliable cycling, the F17-X delivers the soft-recoiling, fast-follow-up performance that defines the F17 line. This listing is for the complete rifle in the standard black finish.
