The Franklin Armory Libertas billet stripped lower receiver is the foundation for a custom AR-15 build, machined from a solid billet of 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in a hard-coat Type III anodized Desert Smoke for excellent wear and corrosion resistance. Franklin Armory’s proprietary billet design delivers a clean, modern profile with a flared magazine well for faster reloads.
This is a true stripped lower – sold without an installed parts kit, so you can choose the components, trigger, and furniture that fit your build. The multi-caliber lower accepts the full range of AR-15 upper receiver cartridges, and the precision-machined receiver is compatible with standard AR-15 small parts. Overall dimensions run approximately 9.6″ long x 5.15″ wide x 3.7″ tall and the unit weighs in around 0.91 lbs.
Manufactured by Franklin Armory in the USA, the Libertas stripped lower is the perfect blank canvas for a custom rifle or pistol build. As a serialized receiver, this part requires transfer through a Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer.
