The Franklin Armory SALUS Built Lower Receiver is a complete AR-15 lower assembly from Franklin Armory’s SALUS line, factory built and ready to host a matching upper. This 0030042DS “Desert Smoke” variant combines the company’s hand-built lower with its renowned trigger work in one serialized package.
At the heart of this lower is Franklin Armory’s BFSIII AR-Elite Binary Trigger, a custom-tuned drop-in that gives the shooter the option of conventional semi-automatic fire or binary fire, firing one round on the pull and a second on the release of the trigger. Purpose-built for the AR-15 platform, the trigger installs cleanly into the lower and is fully compatible with standard Mil-Spec upper receivers and fire control components.
The receiver is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a hardcoat anodized treatment topped by a Desert Smoke Cerakote coating for a muted, sand-toned appearance well suited to tactical and field builds. A flared magazine well aids fast reloads, while integrated enlarged sling mount points provide secure attachment for slings and sling accessories.
Rated for multi-caliber use across the AR-15 family, this SALUS Built lower accepts standard AR-15-pattern components, pistol grips, and magazines. It ships as a complete factory-built serialized lower, ready to pair with a compatible upper and barrel to configure your desired rifle or pistol-caliber build.
