Description
The Great Lakes Firearms GL-15 is an AR-15 platform semi-automatic rifle chambered in the straight-walled 350 Legend cartridge. Purpose-built for hunters in straight-walled-cartridge states and shooters looking for a low-recoil, big-bore AR, the GL-15 brings familiar modular ergonomics to a modern hunting round.
At the heart of the rifle is an 18″ barrel machined from 4150 chrome-moly-vanadium steel and finished in black nitride for corrosion resistance and long service life. The barrel runs a 1:16 twist optimized for 350 Legend projectiles and is threaded 9/16×24 for muzzle accessories. Modified M4 feed ramps in the upper support reliable feeding of the straight-walled case from a 5-round detachable magazine.
Up front, a slim M-LOK handguard provides a modular mounting platform for lights, lasers, and bipods without adding unnecessary bulk. Out back, the rifle wears a classic A2 pistol grip and a 6-position collapsible carbine stock, giving shooters of all sizes a comfortable length of pull. The optic-ready upper ships without iron sights, letting you mount a red dot or scope directly to the Picatinny rail.
Weighing in at 8.05 lbs with an overall length of 38.5″, the GL-15 keeps its balance between the muzzle and the buttstock. Finished in black from end to end, this is a purpose-driven, no-nonsense 350 Legend AR ready for deer camp or the range.
