The Great Lakes Firearms GLFA AR-15 is a modern sporting rifle chambered in .223 Wylde, a hybrid chamber that safely fires both .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition. Built around a 16″ heavy-profile barrel finished in black nitride on 4150 CrMoV steel with a 1:8 twist rate and 1/2×28 threads, this rifle is designed for consistent performance across a wide range of bullet weights.
This is a semi-automatic AR-pattern rifle with a 30+1 capacity, an overall length of 33.25″, and a weight of approximately 6.8 lbs. The platform features a .750″ gas block with M4 feed ramps, a 15.25″ M-LOK handguard for accessory mounting, and a trigger with a 5.5-6 lb pull. The action uses a standard right-side AR-15 control layout (non-ambidextrous safety).
