Description
The GSG GSG-16 is a 22 LR semi-automatic carbine rifle manufactured by German Sport Guns and finished in black. Designed as a low-recoil, high-capacity rimfire carbine with familiar AR-style ergonomics, the GSG-16 is well suited for plinking, training, small-game hunting, and introducing new shooters to the rifle platform.
Chambered in 22 LR and feeding from a 22-round detachable magazine, the GSG-16 cycles via a semi-automatic action and is built around a 16.25-inch barrel with a 1:12-inch twist. The rifle weighs roughly 5.84 lbs and measures approximately 34.18 inches overall with the stock extended, collapsing shorter for transport and storage.
The carbine features a black AR-pattern layout with an M-LOK handguard up front and a 3-position collapsible adjustable stock in the rear. Iron sights consist of an adjustable ghost ring rear aperture paired with a replaceable front post, and the optics-ready upper accepts standard AR-pattern red dots and scopes. A faux-suppressor shroud surrounds the muzzle for a distinctive tactical profile, and standard AR-style controls provide a familiar manual of arms.
