The Guntec USA SPITFIRE is an AR-15 muzzle compensator engineered to tame felt recoil and muzzle rise, helping you stay on target for faster, more accurate follow-up shots. Tuned for the 5.56 NATO chambering, the Spitfire also works on .223 Remington and 9mm AR-platform builds, making it a versatile muzzle device across your rifle and pistol-caliber line-up.
The compensator body is machined from heat-treated steel and finished in a rugged black nitride coating for long-lasting corrosion resistance and a hard, low-glare surface. It carries the standard 1/2×28 thread pitch that matches virtually every factory AR-15 barrel.
What sets the SPITFIRE apart from a typical muzzle brake is the included quick-detach blast shield. The shield threads onto the compensator and redirects concussive blast forward instead of back toward the shooter and nearby teammates, a real advantage in close-quarters environments where a bare brake can be disorienting. When you want a lighter, more compact setup, the blast shield detaches by hand in seconds without tools.
