Description
The Henry H1 Bandit is a compact lever-action rimfire rifle chambered in .22 S/L/LR, built around an 18.5″ round blued steel barrel with a smooth 1:16 twist and a threaded muzzle in 1/2×28 pitch for suppressor or muzzle-device fitment. Sized as Henry’s youth-friendly, adult-handling take on the classic lever-action, the H1 Bandit brings the Henry Repeating Arms heritage down to a scaled-down plinker and small-game rifle that’s easy to shoulder, easy to carry, and ready to shoot right out of the box.
The action is a traditional lever cycling a tubular magazine with a capacity of 14 rounds of .22 LR, 16 rounds of .22 Long, or 21 rounds of .22 Short, so one rifle covers plinking, casual target, and small-game loads. The receiver is alloy, helping keep the rifle’s carry weight at just 5.25 lbs, and is paired with a checkered American walnut pistol-grip buttstock cut to a 13″ length of pull that fits younger and smaller-framed shooters without giving up the lines of a traditional lever-action. Overall length is 35.5″, balancing the 18.5″ barrel for steady off-hand shooting and easy transport to the range or the field.
Like every current-production Henry rimfire, the H1 Bandit is built in the USA and ships as a fully assembled rifle ready for .22 Short, .22 Long, or .22 Long Rifle ammunition.
