The Hodgdon T7MAG Triple Seven Magnum Pellets are pre-formed 50 caliber, 60 grain muzzleloading propellant charges designed for use in inline rifles. Each box contains 50 pellets, packed 12 boxes per case.
Triple Seven is a modern, sulfur-free black powder substitute that delivers the downrange performance of traditional black powder with significantly easier cleanup and far less corrosive residue. Because the pellets are pre-measured, there is no need to carry a separate powder measure or scale in the field – simply drop one or two pellets down the bore and seat a bullet. Ignition is fired by a standard 209 shotshell primer, making the T7MAG compatible with the vast majority of modern inline muzzleloaders on the market.
The Magnum pellet is engineered to push velocities higher than a standard Triple Seven charge. In a 26″ inline barrel, two T7MAG pellets deliver muzzle velocities in the neighborhood of 2,000 fps – roughly 200-250 fps faster than a single-pellet load. Single-pellet loads are well-suited to target shooting and small game, while double-pellet Magnum loads bring magnum-class performance to big game hunting.
