The J&E Machine Tech Flip-Up Front and Rear Polymer Sight Set in black delivers dependable backup iron sighting for AR-platform rifles and any firearm equipped with a Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny rail. Both the front and rear units deploy via spring-loaded flip-up action, snapping upright with a positive detent and folding flat when stowed so they stay out of the way of any magnified optic or red dot mounted behind them.
Designed specifically as back-up iron sights (BUIS) for emergency situations, this set is constructed from high-quality polymer to keep weight at a minimum on flattop receivers. The front sight features tool-less elevation adjustment, letting the shooter dial in elevation by hand without a separate tool, while the rear sight provides a standard sight picture for fast target acquisition at close to medium range.
Installation is straightforward on any continuous Picatinny top rail – mount both units to the rail, tighten the clamping hardware to the rail slots, and the set is ready to use. The pair is equally well suited to co-witnessing through a raised red dot or serving as primary iron sights on a budget AR build, pistol caliber carbine, or other rifle platform.
