The KA-BAR 1280 Combat Kukri is a heavy-duty fixed-blade tactical knife engineered around an 8.5″ forward-curved kukri blade forged from 1095 Cro-Van carbon steel. The distinctive weight-forward kukri geometry concentrates mass at the belly for powerful chopping, slashing, and draw cuts, making it a serious tool for field work, survival, and tactical applications.
Built at an overall length of 13 3/8″ with a robust 0.165″ blade thickness, the Combat Kukri pairs a beefy working edge with a comfortable black Kraton G handle that stays secure in wet, cold, or gloved hands. A 12GA commercial-grade carbon steel guard protects the user’s hand during heavy chopping strokes, and the blade is finished with a durable black powder coat for corrosion resistance.
Each Combat Kukri ships with a heavy-duty polyester sheath designed for hard field use. The lined sheath is MOLLE-compatible for mounting to plate carriers, packs, or belts, giving you flexible carry options on the range, in the field, or around camp.
