The Kaw Valley Precision Reduced Power Trigger Spring Kit is a drop-in upgrade for standard Mil-Spec AR-15 single-stage triggers. Built from 17-4 stainless steel, the kit replaces the factory hammer and trigger springs inside the lower receiver and pulls the typical 8 to 9 lb factory trigger pull down to roughly 5 to 6 lbs – a 2 to 4 lb reduction that cleans up creep and lightens the break without committing to a fully dedicated aftermarket trigger assembly.
KVP’s reduced power springs install in place of the stock springs in any standard AR-pattern lower, making this an affordable, reversible tuning option for builders who want a lighter trigger feel on a Mil-Spec single-stage setup. Designed and manufactured in the USA, the KVP-RPTK is sold as a complete spring kit and is intended for use with single-stage AR-15 triggers only.
