The Kaw Valley Precision Flash Hider for ASR is a compact muzzle device machined from 17-4 stainless steel and finished in a rugged, corrosion-resistant Black Nitride QPQ coating. Designed as a direct-fit ASR-pattern flash hider, this unit threads on at 1/2×28 and mates with SilencerCo ASR-style quick-detach suppressor mounts, giving shooters a single muzzle device that works for both unsuppressed flash reduction and rapid suppressor attachment.
The hider features an oversized .500″ bore that accepts both 5.56 NATO and 9mm pistol-caliber carbines on the 1/2×28 pitch with no caliber-specific inserts required. At just 2.05″ overall length and a trim 3.4 oz in the 1/2×28 configuration, the KVP flash hider keeps added length and balance change to a minimum on standard AR-pattern rifles and PCCs while still pulling significant flash out of the shooter’s sight picture in low light.
