The Kaw Valley Precision Heavy H3 is a weighted AR-15 buffer machined from stainless steel and weighted to the H3 heavy-buffer class at 5.4 ounces. Designed for AR-platform shooters who want to slow the bolt cycle and smooth out reliable function on suppressed or otherwise over-gassed carbines, it adds the extra reciprocating mass needed when a standard carbine buffer comes up short. The all-stainless construction delivers solid corrosion resistance for long-term service.
Built as a direct drop-in for any standard Mil-Spec AR-15 buffer tube, the KVP Heavy H3 installs in place of the factory weight and is a popular upgrade for short-barreled rifles and any AR configuration that benefits from added buffer mass. Sold individually.
