The Kaw Valley Precision Thread Protector is a precision-machined muzzle accessory designed to cover and protect your barrel threads when no muzzle device is installed. Cut in-house from US steel on an 8-axis Swiss lathe, this 1/2×28 thread protector carries a Black Nitride QPQ finish for corrosion resistance and long-term wear protection.
KVP engineered the protector with an ID bore that protects the barrel crown, and integrated wrench flats into the body for quick, hassle-free installation and removal with a standard wrench. With a produced length of 0.72″ and an outer diameter of 0.75″, the unit sits compact and low-profile while still providing full coverage of the muzzle threads.
