Description
The Michaels 11712 is a factory quick-detach sling swivel set built specifically for the Remington Model 4 and Model 7400 autoloading rifles. Part of the Michaels/Uncle Mike’s line, this steel set is engineered for these Remington semi-auto platforms where conventional sling hardware will not seat properly on the factory forend or stock.
Each swivel features the standard 1″ loop in a durable blued steel finish that complements the traditional bluing found on a Model 4 or 7400. The quick-detach mechanism provides easy attachment and detachment of the swivels from their bases, so the shooter can switch between carrying the rifle on a sling and shooting it clean in the field.
What sets this kit apart from generic swivels is its two-piece mounting system. The forend end uses a special adapter bolt swivel base that replaces the factory forend screw on the Model 4 and 7400, while the stock end fastens with a standard wood screw base into the buttstock.
