Description
The Mojo Outdoors Butt Up Rippler is a motorized motion decoy built to replicate a feeding Mallard drake working the shallows. The butt-up posture is widely considered the most realistic silhouette a hunter can put on the water, mimicking the natural pose of a dabbling duck tipping forward to feed and drawing wary birds in from a distance.
The decoy is molded from durable multi-color plastic and finished in a natural drake paint scheme for convincing field presentation. All of the moving components are housed in a single, easily removable screw-lock module, which makes battery changes and field maintenance quick and tool-free. Power comes from four AA batteries (not included), and the unit delivers up to 6-8 hours of continuous rippling motion on a single set.
With a compact footprint of 8.1″ long x 5.6″ wide x 6.2″ tall, the Butt Up Rippler is easy to pack into a layout blind, jon boat, or marsh tote. It drops cleanly into a spread alongside full-body decoys or pairs with other Mojo spinners to finish out a realistic waterfowl hunting rig for puddle-duck seasons.
