Chambered in 12 Gauge with a 2.75-inch chamber, it feeds from a double-stack detachable magazine rather than a traditional tube, making it one of the most distinctive entries in the legendary 590 family.
At the heart of this Standoff variant is a 14.375-inch heavy-walled standoff barrel designed to give the operator safe clearance during close-quarters breach operations. The barrel wears a Parkerized matte black finish and is paired with a cylinder-bore choke. The drilled and tapped receiver is finished to match, and the forend features an M-LOK accessory interface for lights, lasers, and sling attachment.
The 590M ships with one 10-round double-stack magazine, giving a 10+1 total capacity and fast reloads that a traditional tube-fed pump cannot match. Controls are classic Mossberg 590: tang-mounted safety, dual extractors, and a smooth, heavy-duty pump stroke, paired here with a Black Birdshead grip and synthetic furniture.
