The Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical SPX is a semi-automatic 12 Gauge tactical shotgun built around Mossberg’s gas-operated 940 action. Chambered for 3″ shells, this SPX variant is designed for security, home defense, and law enforcement applications where reliability is non-negotiable.
Featuring an 18.5″ matte blue barrel fitted with an integral heat shield and threaded for Mossberg’s Accu-Choke system, this 4+1 capacity shotgun (Mfg 85180) ships with a cylinder choke installed. The optic-ready receiver accepts micro red dots via an RMSc footprint and includes adapter plates for RMR-pattern optics. A protected metal ghost ring rear sight paired with a fiber-optic front sight provides rugged, fast target acquisition when running iron sights.
