The Mossberg 990 Aftershock is a purpose-built tactical 12 gauge semi-automatic firearm engineered for home defense, security, and short-range duty applications. Built around a compact 14.75″ barrel with a 3″ chamber, the Aftershock cycles through Mossberg’s proven semi-auto action and measures just 27.125″ end to end for easy handling in tight spaces.
This configuration (MPN 83003) ships from the factory with a Crimson Trace Lasersaddle mounted to the receiver, giving the operator an instantly activated red aiming point without breaking the firing grip. A fiber optic front sight provides a traditional backup aiming option when shooting without the laser engaged. The signature Aftershock grip module features a rubberized palm pad for positive recoil control, and the entire metalwork wears a non-reflective matte finish.
With a cylinder bore choke and 5+1 capacity fed from the fixed magazine tube, this Mossberg arrives ready for duty straight out of the box.
