The Mossberg Patriot Super Bantam is a compact, youth-friendly bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 7mm-08 Rem and outfitted from the factory with a 20″ matte blued barrel and a mounted 3-9x40mm scope on the included two-piece optics base. Sized down for younger or smaller-stature shooters, the Super Bantam delivers the same no-frills Patriot action that has earned a reputation as a reliable working rifle, just trimmed where it counts for first-time hunters and growing kids.
The 5+1 capacity box magazine feeds the user-adjustable Lightning Bolt Action (LBA) trigger, and the black synthetic youth-sized stock trims the overall length to just 38.5″. A total weight of 7.5 lbs keeps the rifle easy to shoulder in the deer stand without punishing recoil. A 1:9.5″ twist stabilizes the 7mm-08 Rem’s typical bullet-weight range across whitetail, muley, and similar North American game.
