The Nosler Ballistic Tip Varmint is a premium reloading bullet in 6mm (.243″) diameter, featuring a 55-grain Spitzer profile with a polymer tip and a boat-tail base. Built around a lead core, this bullet is engineered to expand rapidly and consistently on varmint-sized game at high velocity.
Designed for handloaders chasing prairie dogs, coyotes, and other small game, the Ballistic Tip Varmint line thrives on ultra-high velocity loads while still delivering accurate, devastating terminal performance down-range. The streamlined Spitzer boat-tail profile produces a ballistic coefficient of 0.276 and a sectional density of 0.133, helping handloaders squeeze maximum velocity and flat trajectory out of their 6mm cartridges.
