Description
The Otis MPSR Cleaning Kit is purpose-built for .308 Winchester and 7.62mm NATO rifles. This complete Breech-to-Muzzle cleaning system uses Otis’s signature flexible-cable design to pull a patch and brush through the bore from the breech end, eliminating the need to push fouling and debris back into the action.
At the core of the kit are 30″ and 8″ aircraft-grade Memory-Flex cables that route through tight gas-port geometry and around bolt-tail openings without kinking. A .308/7.62mm bronze bore brush scrubs copper fouling from the bore, while a matching bore mop applies an even coat of solvent and finishes the cleaning pass. The included T-handle drives the cable with positive grip, and a large obstruction remover clears stubborn bore obstructions. A chamber brush scrubs the chamber and lug recesses, and a pin punch handles field disassembly of components.
To complete the cleaning process, the kit ships with 10 cotton 3″ patches pre-cut to .30 caliber, a large slotted tip that locks patches and brushes to the cable, and a .5 fl oz bottle of FP-10 Lubricant – Otis’s signature cleaner/CLP that cuts carbon, copper, and lead fouling while leaving a protective film. Everything is organized in a compact black case sized roughly 1.85″ x 4.90″ x 8.65″, ready to drop into a range bag or pack for field use.
