The Outdoor Edge Razor VX4 is a compact folding everyday-carry knife built around a 3-inch replaceable drop point blade and a slim, lightweight handle wrapped in layered carbon fiber over a G10 base. This variant pairs that textured carbon-over-G10 scale set with vented stainless steel liners for a balanced, durable frame finished with black hardware.
The blade is precision-cut from Japanese 420J2 stainless steel in a classic drop point profile with a plain edge, ground razor-sharp out of the box. It rides on Outdoor Edge’s signature RazorSafe replaceable blade system, allowing the edge to be swapped in the field so a fresh, sharp blade is always ready for any cutting task.
A ceramic ball bearing pivot delivers smooth, easy one-hand opening and closing, and a solid liner lock keeps the blade securely in place under hard use. The carbon fiber over G10 handle is grippy and lightweight, and a reversible pocket clip allows ambidextrous carry. With a 3.0 in blade, 7.3 in overall length, and a trim 3.5 oz weight, the Razor VX4 disappears in a pocket while still offering a substantial, easy-to-control cutting surface.
