Description
The Radian Weapons Raptor-SD ambidextrous charging handle is purpose-built for the AR-15/M16 platform and engineered with the suppressed shooter in mind. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in a Mil-Spec Type III hard coat anodized Flat Dark Earth, the Raptor-SD delivers the strength and corrosion resistance expected of a premium duty-grade component.
The defining feature of the Raptor-SD is its set of gas-venting cuts machined into the shaft. These ports redirect gas away from the shooter’s face when running the gun with a sound suppressor, dramatically reducing blowback to the shooter and keeping the action smooth during rapid strings of fire. The ambidextrous latch design allows both right- and left-handed shooters to charge the weapon from either side with positive engagement.
Compatible with most AR-15/M16-pattern rifles and built around the proven 5.56x45mm NATO family of cartridges, the Raptor-SD is a direct replacement for the standard mil-spec charging handle and installs without modification.
