The Remington Core-Lokt in 25-06 Remington is a classic American big-game hunting load built around one of the most proven bullet designs in the history of centerfire rifle ammunition. Core-Lokt is the original controlled-expansion bullet, pairing a progressively tapered copper jacket with a lead core that delivers reliable expansion, deep penetration, and high weight retention on medium and large North American game.
This 120 grain Core-Lokt Pointed Soft Point leaves the muzzle at 2990 fps, generating 2382 ft lbs of energy from the 25-06 Remington case – a flat-shooting, hard-hitting cartridge well suited to whitetail deer, mule deer, pronghorn, and black bear at open- and brush-country ranges. The pointed soft-point profile promotes reliable feeding from box magazines and helps the bullet hold velocity downrange.
Loaded in brass cases and designed to be reloadable, Core-Lokt has been a go-to deer rifle load for generations and remains in current Remington Ammunition production. Each box contains 20 rounds; a full case holds 200 rounds (10 boxes).
