The Rossi R95 Trapper is a lever-action rifle chambered in .45 Colt, built on a classic carbine-length layout with a 16.5″ barrel and an 8+1 tubular-magazine capacity. Designed for cowboy-action competition, brush-country hunting, and traditional lever-action enthusiasts, it pairs a black oxide finished steel action with a wood stock for the timeless saddle-gun silhouette.
Built around Rossi’s proven R95 lever-action platform, this Trapper variant offers the quick-pointing handling of a shorter carbine. The action wears a black oxide finish for corrosion resistance in the field and is matched to a hardwood stock. Iron sights come in the form of a buckhorn-style rear and a drift-adjustable front blade, ready to be dialed in at the range. At an overall length of 35.5″, the rifle is compact enough for a scabbard, a saddle, or a vehicle rack while still delivering the substantial .45 Colt ballistics the cartridge is famous for.
