The Ruger AR Upper Parts Kit is a factory replacement set of the small internal components used to complete or service the upper receiver of an AR-15 or M16-pattern rifle or pistol. Manufactured by Ruger to original factory dimensions, this is the same complement of parts supplied on Ruger AR-platform firearms and is an exact fit for any standard mil-spec AR upper.
The kit covers the two primary moving assemblies on a typical AR upper. The forward assist is supplied complete with its retaining pin and spring, ready to drop into a stripped upper or replace a worn or missing unit. The ejection port cover assembly is fully populated with the cover, rod, rod spring, and retaining pin, so the spring-loaded dust door that keeps fouling out of the action goes in as a complete unit. All metal components carry a phosphate finish for corrosion resistance and long service life.
