Description
The Savage 334 is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .308 Winchester and built around a 20-inch free-floating, button-rifled carbon steel barrel with a 1:10 twist. Part of Savage’s Stevens line, the 334 is built for hunting applications.
The action uses a 60-degree bolt lift with three locking lugs, and the carbon steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases. A matte black finish covers the barrel and receiver. The rifle ships from the factory in an optic-ready configuration with no iron sights installed, and the receiver includes an integrated recoil lug.
Feeding from a detachable 3-round box magazine, the 334 offers a 3+1 capacity. The matte black synthetic stock features an ergonomic profile and a recoil pad at the toe for comfort during extended range sessions. Controls include a three-position thumb safety, and the rifle is configured for right-handed shooters. With an overall length of approximately 41.25 inches and a weight near 7.6 pounds, the 334 balances comfortably for field carry.
