Description
The Savage Axis 2 Pro in 7mm-08 Remington is a purpose-built left-handed bolt-action hunting rifle featuring a 20-inch threaded heavy sporter barrel with a 1:9.5″ rate of twist, ready to mount a muzzle brake or suppressor directly to the factory threads. The carbon steel barrel wears a Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote finish for corrosion and wear resistance in the field.
Savage redesigned the stock for the Axis 2 Pro line, giving this rifle an ergonomic chassis in Woodland camo with enhanced texturing for a secure grip, a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells, and an enhanced bolt handle that cycles more easily. A one-piece Picatinny rail is machined to the receiver, providing a stable optics platform for a scope of your choice.
Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets the shooter dial in a clean, crisp pull without leaving the range, while a detachable 4-round box magazine delivers a 4+1 capacity well suited to medium-game hunting with the flat-shooting 7mm-08 cartridge.
