Description
The Sig Sauer ROMEO-X Enclosed Compact is a rugged, fully enclosed pistol-mounted reflex sight built around a crisp 3 MOA red dot reticle. Inspired by the MIL-SPEC ROMEO-M17, this compact optic delivers a distortion-free sight picture through an aspherical glass lens and an objective lens diameter of 24mm, all at 1x magnification for fast both-eyes-open target acquisition.
The sight is built on a precision CNC-machined 7075 aluminum housing with a fully enclosed and sealed optical system that is argon-purged to prevent internal fogging in any environment. A patent-pending Beyllium Copper Flexure Arm provides the recoil-resistant zero-holding foundation, while MOTAC (Motion Activated Illumination) powers the unit up and down automatically to preserve battery life on a single CR1632 battery. The side-mounted battery compartment allows fast swaps without unmounting the optic from the host pistol.
With overall dimensions of 1.62 in long x 1.23 in wide x 0.94 in tall and a weight of just 1.1 oz, the ROMEO-X Enclosed Compact adds minimal bulk and keeps an ultra-low deck height for co-witnessing with the host pistol’s iron sights.
