The Springfield Armory XD OSP Optic Mounting Plate is an OEM adapter plate designed to mount Vortex Venom-footprint red dot sights onto Springfield XD OSP pistols. The plate replaces the factory rear sight on the slide, providing the correct footprint pattern to seat a compatible mini-red-dot optic directly to the OSP cut.
Engineered specifically for the XD series OSP slide profile, this mounting plate drops in without further fitting. Installation reuses the factory cover plate’s 8-32 screws; Springfield recommends torquing them to no more than 18 in-lbs with thread locker for a secure, repeatable zero.
