The Taurus 942 Ultra-Lite is a compact, eight-shot .22 LR double-action/single-action revolver built on a lightweight aluminum frame and finished in non-reflective matte black. Designed for concealed carry, recreational plinking, and low-cost skills training, the 942 Ultra-Lite pairs a snag-friendly 2-inch barrel with an eight-round cylinder to deliver easy handling and exceptionally mild recoil in a package sized for daily carry.
The Taurus 942 Ultra-Lite uses a traditional double-action/single-action (DA/SA) trigger, giving shooters the option of a long, smooth double-action pull for rapid follow-up shots and a short, light single-action press for deliberate precision work. The front sight is a serrated ramp, and the rear sight is drift-adjustable for windage, providing a clean sight picture well suited to quick target acquisition at close range.
