Description
The Traditions NitroFire VAPR is an inline .50 caliber muzzleloading rifle built around a 26″ fluted and tapered Chromoly steel barrel finished in Burnt Bronze Cerakote. Designed as a single-shot, break-open platform, the NitroFire uses 209 shotgun primers for ignition in place of traditional percussion caps.
The barrel features Traditions’ VAPR twist at a 1:24″ rate, engineered to stabilize modern conical muzzleloading projectiles out past 200 yards. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optic mounting, and this configuration ships without iron sights so the shooter can mount their preferred scope directly to the action.
The rifle carries a fixed Veil Wideland camouflage synthetic stock paired with the Burnt Bronze Cerakote barrel finish for a clean, modern look. Weighing in at 6.5 lbs, the NitroFire is a lightweight, fast-handling inline muzzleloader aimed at hunters pursuing big game with muzzleloader-legal firearms.
