Constructed from 8-layer carbon fiber, the JC weighs just 3 lbs unloaded and can be brought up to roughly 6.75 lbs with the integrated 10 oz micro-padded center column and three optional 16.4 oz leg inserts for added stability in wind. The tripod collapses to a compact 25.5″ for transport and extends into a tall, stable shooting platform.
