The TriStar Protege X Sub Compact is a single-action, 1911-style sub-compact pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. It blends the timeless ergonomics and trigger feel of a classic 1911 with a pocketable footprint that makes everyday carry practical.
Built around a forged steel slide riding on a steel frame, the Protege X wears a Tungsten Cerakote finish for a modern, neutral look with added corrosion and wear resistance. The 1911-style fire control uses a Series 70-style single-action trigger for a clean, crisp break that 1911 enthusiasts will recognize.
Key specifications include a 3.2-inch barrel, an overall length of 6.2 inches, fixed iron sights, and a 7+1 round capacity from a compact single-stack magazine. Unloaded weight comes in at approximately 1.06 lbs, keeping the Protege X slim and lightweight in the waistband.
