Description
The Warne X-SKEL Gen 2 is a one-piece extended skeletonized scope mount purpose-built for modern sporting rifles and other Picatinny-equipped MSR platforms. Machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished in a low-glare Dark Earth anodized coating, the X-SKEL skeletonizes the base to shed weight without sacrificing the clamping strength needed to keep a riflescope locked down under hard use.
This 1 inch model fits any scope with a 1-inch main tube, and the Gen 2 design provides additional forward cantilever for proper eye relief with longer optics such as LPVOs. A one-piece side-clamp grips the rail evenly for repeatable return-to-zero, and 65 in/lb of torque is recommended on the crossbolt. At just 6.7 oz and measuring 6.5 x 2.5 x 7.25 inches, the X-SKEL keeps the front of the rifle light while leaving the receiver area open for iron sight co-witness.
