This Model 70 feeds from a hinged floorplate internal magazine holding 3+1 rounds. The 1:10″ rate of twist stabilizes the heavy .300 Win Mag bullet weights favored for big-game hunting across open country, while the matte blued finish on the barrel and receiver shrugs off glare in the field.
