Description
The Winchester SX4 Waterfowl Hunter is a 12 gauge gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun purpose-built for duck and goose hunters. Chambered for 3″ shells and fed by a 4+1 tubular magazine, it pairs a 26″ vent rib barrel with a lightweight aluminum alloy receiver and a fixed Realtree Legacy synthetic stock that disappears in marsh grass, flooded timber, and early-season cover.
Built on the proven Super X4 action, the Waterfowl Hunter cycles a wide range of 12 gauge loads reliably, from light target loads up through heavy 3″ magnum waterfowl ammunition. The barrel is threaded for Winchester’s Invector choke system and ships with three choke tubes: Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder. A TRUGLO fiber-optic front sight speeds target acquisition in low light, and Winchester’s Inflex Technology recoil pad tames the push of heavy payloads during long hunts.
The Realtree Legacy camo finish on the stock and forearm handles wet, cold, and rough hunting conditions, and the synthetic construction shrugs off the abuse of a full season in the blind. At roughly 7 lbs and an overall length of about 47″, the SX4 Waterfowl Hunter is fast-handling and easy to swing on incoming flocks. Right-hand configuration.
